Burrell Street Sexual Health Centre (Guy's & St Thomas')
This clinic provides STI testing and treatment, one-minute HIV testing, PEP (post-exposure prophylaxis) and PrEP pre-exposure prophylaxis) on arrival and walk-in service seven days a week.
Offered services
- HIV advice, advocacy and information.
- HIV testing (including “one-minute” rapid HIV tests)
- Post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) for HIV.
- Pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) for HIV.HIV management / confirmatory testing following diagnosis.
- Tests and treatment for all sexually transmitted infections (STIs) (e.g., chlamydia, gonorrhoea, syphilis)
- Contraception services including pills, patches, vaginal rings, implants, IUD/IUS, emergency contraception
- Free condoms (for under-25s and older)
- Self-sampling kits (urine, swab, finger-prick blood) for STI/HIV screening
- Support services: for young people, for sexual assault survivors, for people using drugs/chemsex or with alcohol issues
- Vaccinations: e.g., hepatitis B vaccination
- Priority & walk-in access (especially young people under 18, walk-in for symptom cases)
